  • B: Performing well with room to grow. Strong foundation, refinement needed.

  • C: Getting by. Mixed results. Not struggling, not thriving.

  • D: Struggling. This area holds you back and needs a fresh approach.

  • F: Serious weakness. Little or no strategy in place. Rebuild from the ground up.

Select your grade from the dropdown menu below.

Awareness Grade
A
B
C
D
F

Definition: Your ability to make potential customers aware of your brand, products, or services.

Evaluation criteria: Reach of your campaigns, brand recognition, visibility on the channels where your ideal customers spend time, and the volume of new people discovering you each month. Grade the quality of attention, not just the quantity. High visibility with the wrong audience earns a low grade.

Engagement Grade
A
B
C
D
F

Definition: Your ability to turn initial attention into ongoing interaction and connection.

Evaluation criteria: Consistency of interaction across social, email, and other channels. Whether people comment, share, reply, and return. How well you listen and respond to feedback. Sporadic posting and one-way broadcasting both point to a lower grade.

Lead Generation Grade
A
B
C
D
F

Definition: Your ability to convert interest into captured contact information from qualified prospects. Evaluation criteria: Volume and quality of leads entering your pipeline. Whether those leads match your buyer persona. Strength of your offers and lead magnets. Conversion rates on landing pages and forms. Grade quality over quantity. A flood of leads who never buy earns a D.

Conversion Optimization Grade
A
B
C
D
F

Definition: Your ability to turn captured leads into paying customers.

Evaluation criteria: Lead-to-customer conversion rate. How well your sales pages, checkout process, and follow-up sequences answer objections. Friction points and drop-off in the buying process. Whether prospects stall at a predictable step tells you most of what you need here.

WOW Grade
A
B
C
D
F

Definition: Your ability to deliver a memorable, better-than-expected experience immediately after the purchase.

Evaluation criteria: What happens in the first hours and days once someone buys. Onboarding, follow-up, unexpected touches that make a customer glad they chose you. Grade this on post-sale delivery only. A great sales process with a silent handoff after payment earns a low grade.

Customer Ladder Grade
A
B
C
D
F

Definition: Your ability to move customers up through deepening levels of commitment: buyer, repeat buyer, client, advocate, raving fan.

Evaluation criteria: Repeat purchase rate, retention, lifetime value, and whether you run deliberate programs that move people to the next rung. Post-purchase communication frequency matters here. If the relationship goes quiet after delivery, grade low.

Reviews & Testimonials Grade
A
B
C
D
F

Definition: Your ability to generate social proof and put it to work. Evaluation criteria: Whether you ask for reviews systematically or wait and hope. Volume and recency of reviews. How prominently you display that proof where buyers make decisions. Whether you use the feedback, including the critical feedback, to improve what you sell.

Referrals Grade
A
B
C
D
F

Definition: Your ability to turn satisfied customers into active advocates who send you new business.

Evaluation criteria: Percentage of new business arriving through referral. Whether a formal referral program exists. How easy and rewarding you make the act of referring. Reviews are public proof. Referrals are personal endorsements, so grade them separately.
